In the beverage industry, large quantities of many different containers have to be palletized. Previously, layering palletizers were primarily used for these applications. However, changes in consumer beverage preferences have led to a significant expansion of the product range, as a result of which such conventional automation solutions have reached their limits. Today, not only speed but also flexibility is demanded – flexibility which can only be provided by a six-axis jointed-arm robot.
